About Victor Manickam Foundation

Victor Manickam Foundation found it’s inception more than a decade ago when Victor Manickam began his journey of transformation. It took form as a section 8 company when the team of Victor Manickam came together to give it birth on 30th August, 2021.

While it began with the Project Mochan, a Prison Reformation Project, over the past 4 years, the foundation has developed and worked on 4 new projects - Project Manzil, Project Mamta, Project Madhyam, and Project Masoom. Through these, the team at Victor Manickam Foundation brings to life the intent of Social Transformation from the mode of Exclusion to Inclusion to Expand Possibilities.

Our Work

At the heart of our foundation lies a commitment to addressing crime, addiction, deprival, abuse, and survival. Through extensive research, we have identified that these concerns in the society can be addressed by transforming them to the worlds of redemption, empowerment, acceptance, creation, and innocence.

Guided by this vision, we have created 5 transformative projects: Project Mochan, Project Manzil, Project Mamta, Project Madhyam, and Project Masoom. Each project is uniquely designed to create meaningful change, empower individuals, and build a brighter, more inclusive future for all. Together, these projects reflect our intention to creating a world where every individual can gain their self expression.

PROJECT MOCHAN

Project Mochan is created an intention to distinguish Restorative Justice to effect the above mentioned transformation by sharing an opportunity with prison inmates to redeem and embrace themselves and their lives. It would give them the power to feel complete and choose to take responsibility for the consequences of their actions without justification or defense, but with forgiveness and acceptance. By being responsible for one’s own life, they can choose how they want to live the rest of their life. Even if they spend the rest of their lives in jail, the choice to be responsible for their mental, emotional, physical state is what they’re empowered to create.

PROJECT MANZIL

Project Manzil is dedicated to fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among individuals, business owners, and organizational leaders, aiming to enhance social capital and drive societal transformation. By promoting sustainability and succession planning within India's vast SME ecosystem, Manzil seeks to double their contribution to the GDP over the next decade. The vision encompasses educating one million aspiring entrepreneurs, thereby positioning India as a leading sustainable economy by 2050.

PROJECT MAMTA

Project Mamta envisions transforming addiction from a societal burden to an opportunity for human potential. By addressing the root cause—disconnection from the world—it aims to rehabilitate addicts through self-discovery and responsibility-driven education. With 2.63 crore addicts in India, Mamta’s goal is to empower 1 million individuals to become contributors to the economy, generating ₹500 crores annually in taxes. Inspired by models like Portugal’s health-centered approach, Mamta emphasizes societal compassion and inclusive support for sustainable transformation.

PROJECT MADHYAM

Project Madhyam is an initiative designed to address the systemic challenges faced by women, particularly in India, by fostering empowerment through introspection, awareness, and action. Anchored in the belief that women are the core source of creation and nurture, the project seeks to transform the mindset of suppression into one of self-expression. By integrating listening, compassion, and the recreation of self-perception, it aims to enable women to transcend limiting societal constructs and emerge as empowered individuals. The ultimate goal is to create a ripple effect, where empowered women become catalysts for broader societal transformation.

PROJECT MASOOM

Project Masoom is a transformative initiative aimed at reintegrating orphaned, abandoned, and radicalized children into society by restoring their innocence and sense of belonging. Drawing from global best practices, such as Rwanda’s foster care model and the Democratic Republic of Congo’s RET DDR program, the project focuses on holistic healing, family-based care, skill-building, and community involvement. It envisions a future where every child, regardless of their background, can feel loved, accepted, and empowered to create a meaningful life.
